Plus Irish music from performers like Tommy Makem, the Irish Rovers, Enter The Haggis, etc.

Q: After all those years in radio, you must have met some really cool people. Drop some names for us.
A: I've emceed hundreds of concerts. The coolest performer I ever got to meet was Waylon Jennings....he was great and treated my wife and me like we were old friends, just hanging out in his tour bus. Hank Jr was amazing....loud and obnoxious in person just like you'd think, but really friendly. Jo Dee Messina is a sweetheart, George Strait a complete gentleman.....but meeting Johnny Cash was the only time in my life that I was left speechless. He left me in awe.....he was just bigger than life!

Q: Final question....fill in the blank - "If I wasn't working on the radio, I'd be ________"
A: "Miserable". I just love what I do, and hopefully my Q-Country listeners will love it, too.
